Tara Winds Farm is located in historic Caledon Village in the beautiful Hills of Caledon, Ontario. We are a hobby farm, which includes a Cover-All indoor arena and barn, paddocks, and beautiful scenic trails.

We have a small herd of Canadian and Icelandic horses. We are proud to have Canadian Horses - The National Horse of Canada. By owning and loving these animals, we hope to promote and preserve this rare and wonderful breed of horse. Please visit our links for Canadian horse breeders and owners.

New additions to our herd are Icelandic horses. Icelandic horses are one of the purest horse breeds in the world. They have a special gait called a "tolt". The tolt is a lot of fun to ride. Icelandic horses are addictive - we are up to three already!
